LABORATORY OF HUMAN GLYCOBIOLOGY

Science Faculty

Human Glicobiology is a strong biomedical discipline that aims to understand the function of glycoconjugates in human pathology and physiology.

The Laboratory of Human Glycobiology is located in the Science Faculty of the Morelos State Autonomous University in the beautiful city of Cuernavaca and is becoming a new and dynamic space to study glycobiology, reaching frontiers in evolution as well as diagnosis and treatment of glycosylation disorders in various human diseases.

In our lab we develop research aimed to understand how metabolic disorders and genetic polymorphisms affect cellular and protein glycosylation using biochemical and molecular biology tools specific for glycan analysis.
